Overview

What if the Universe were to send you frequent reminders of the absolute power you have over your life? Author Mike Dooley, an interpreter for the Universe, has done exactly that in Notes from the Universe -- a collection of empowering, invaluable truths that can be read front to back or opened at random. This first book in the Notes from the Universe trilogy teaches its readers to live a life far richer than they had previously thought imaginable.

A question, from your friend the Universe:

Just how much time do you spend thinking big?

I mean, really, really BIG?

Good, very good!

Because that's exactly how much of

"It" you're going to get!

What a coincidence.

Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
"I've learned," writes Mike Dooley, "that no matter how dark things get, no matter how difficult, if I continue to do my part, the Universe has to do its part -- it's the law, and things will turn around." Dooley, whose story appears in The Secret, is deeply convinced that we have been given dominion over all things. His unconventional and delightfully unfettered daily notes serve as springboards to our minds and imagination. Visualizing the life you desire.
From the Publisher
"Mike Dooley's Notes from the Universe have charged my day with absolute job more times than I can remember." - Rhonda Byrne, creator and executive producer of The Secret

Read an Excerpt

It's easy to look around at all the people who already have what you want, notice how they differ from you, and then think that they are the "kind of people" for whom having what you want, comes naturally. Whereas you are not, otherwise you'd have it too.

Very rational thinking, and a super way for non-adventurers to avoid responsibility, rest on the sidelines, and watch more TV.

Adventurers, on the other hand, understand that they are exactly the kind of people who should have the things they want, otherwise, they wouldn't be blessed with wanting them.

There's nothing you can ask for that won't set the entire Universe in motion.

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

You wouldn't believe the stuff people think they want.

Just the other day someone was asking for a llama.

Nothing wrong with llamas, I have a few myself, but the llama he wants is supposed to help him with his business; schlepping stuff over mountains, they're good for that.

Now, why do you suppose he didn't just ask for a pickup truck?

Trust me, he could've asked for a pickup truck, and he'd have been a lot happier.

So... I'm off to the bazaar. In the meantime, should you need anything, please, be sure to ask for what you really want.
