Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"The content follows that of the 1859 edition, with additional information to include current practices and knowledge. The book provides guidance of a practical nature, intended for use by family members and others who act as caregivers. The language will be accessible to the widest possible readership." International Nursing Review, Volume 56, Number 2. June 2009

"Reviewing this 'modern version of Florence Nightingale's original best-seller' must be considered a privilege for anyone involved in nursing practice...This worthy addition to any library has been updated without removing the key themes close to Miss Nightingale's heart...I recommend this book to nurses as a salient reminder of why many of us joined the ranks of nursing in the first place."

Nursing Standard, 16 December 2009

"I am finding it a really fascinating read...and it gives some great tips regarding care at home..." Bev Hurst, IAPO Representatative for National Concern for Healthcare Infections, UK.
