Editorial Reviews

VOYA
This novel finds the Gossip Girl cast of characters in their final week of school, preparing to graduate by shopping for distinctive designer clothing to wear to the ceremony. The use of brand names as adjectives appears more prevalent than in previous novels in the series, and the fantasy world of wealth, beauty, and absent parents has been expanded to include a British lord and a fleet of European cars destined to be graduation gifts. There are only outrageous plot lines, such as one character's theft of his coach's Viagra, putting his graduation in jeopardy. The book is predictably light; like a senior at the end of the school year, it is aimless. Faithful readers should question how much longer the series can continue. VOYA CODES: 1Q 3P J S (Hard to understand how it got published; Will appeal with pushing; Junior High, defined as grades 7 to 9; Senior High, defined as grades 10 to 12). 2005, Little Brown, 220p., Trade pb. This CRAP

This book is for teenagers that like books like Pretty Little Liars or Twilight. Which is mostly books with unlikeable, brain dead characters that are not realistic. Just like the PLL Books there not likeable characters you could mistake all of them for the other and the drama is pretty boring really. If you like them then you are probably rich. And Also I'm a Teenager too. It's Just that I don't like crap.

    Nothing Can Keep Us Together

As always Gossip Girl proves to be the reigning queen in chick-lit and scandal filled novels,Nothing Can Keep Us Together continues on with Blair coming to terms, however slow that might be with her hasty break-up with Nate when she discovered Nate and Serena locking lips in the tub on Senior's Cut day in the last book,I loved that Blair is grounded by her friendship with Vanessa and you do see both of them changing,You would never have thought these two would end up together, not in relations speaking but as close friends. This novels has been such a pleasure to read and i really recommend it for girls who love a light, funny and totally trend worthy novel.Combine hot fashion, trendy make-up,lust-worthy guys, beautiful girls, friendship, scandal, private school and rich Manhatteners and you've got yourself an awesome read!

    NOTHING CAN KEEP US TOGETHER

B gets a new boyfriend (a true British prince) to replace N. N pines over B while he "dates" S. J is still trying to find the perfect party boarding school. D finds out he's still head over heels in love with V, but V doesn't know if she wants him or A. All the seniors are graduating this year and stirring up the latest gossip like is B's new boyfriend a real prince and is he already engaged to someone else and is N and S really dating or just messing around? Great book series and TV show!

    Good

This Gossip Girl novel was sooo good. There are lots of new developments with the main characters. It also leaves you to wander what crazy things will happen during summer? Also, what about Jenny since she is leaving for boarding school (the It Girl series)? This is probably one of my faves and they finally graduated high school! I look forward to the next books to earn about their crazy summer!

    Not the best book

I like the series of these books, but this book wasn¿t the best one that they wrote. In this book, there are teenage girls who are bffs. They all enter this contest for this teenage magazine. Two of the girls cheated by switching the ballet boxes so that the judge would pick from there box that has there names in it. Eventually the girl¿s ex-bff find out that they cheated and that they don¿t deserve the fame. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a lot of drama and friends fighting and then finding a way to solve it.

Nothing Can Keep Us Together By Cecily Von Ziegesar

This story takes place in the Upper Side of New York. This story is about some girls that are in Private school and this girls are in love with some guys that also go to Private school. These girls are very excited and nervous of graduating and going off to the real world. But there are some girls that don't really get along because they use to be the best friends ever. But one day they stopped talking and they both went there own way. One day while Blair was out shopping for her graduation dress she bumped into this really hot British guy that she thought was very cute. So they both apologized to each other and they decided to go on a date so they went and they had a great time and they got to know each other. The next day he asked her to met him and some of his friends but she felt very uncomfortable around his friends because she didn't know any of them. So then she told him that she had to leave and decided to take a taxi back home but instead took a limo home. Then a couple of days later after school the British boy decided to go and pick her up from school to go and take her shopping and Serena was very upset that the British hot boy was coming to pick up Blair. One day at school one of the teachers told Serena that she was going to be one of the speakers that was going to speak at the graduation ceremony so that got her even more nervous that she now had to make a speech at graduation. But the thing that made her even more nervous was that she was not going to attend her graduation she was leaving town with her boyfriend to go see the college she was going to. So she was very nervous because she didn't know how to tell her teacher so she decided not to. Blair went to many boutiques to try to find something to wear because their school tradition is to wear white and white gloves with there outfit. Serena went to the Oscar de la Renta boutique and got to met him in personand told her that he would do the dress himself. After a couple of weeks later Blair received this dress from a friend and was very happy and she still didn't know if she was going to attend graduation. It was couple of days before graduation and all the girls from school were very nervous and excited. The days passed and it was the day of graduation and all the girls were getting ready and Blair was still deciding if she was going to attend her graduation. Blair tried on the dress she received and right at the moment her boy friend came to pick her up and graduation had already began. While Blair was at home they were calling people up to get there diploma and they called Blair and she was no were to be found so minutes later she arrived and went up stage to receive her diploma and was very happy she did. Then after graduation everyone went to the graduation party and all became adults and they all went there own way to do there career they all been dreaming to do.

    Suspenseful, and Addicting

I absolutely loved this book. It was great, although maybe not as good as some of the previous ones. It still has a very dramatic plot, and the characters go through many changes. This book deals with Serena, Nate, and Blair's last week of high school, as they all prepare to graduate. It is very suspenseful, and it will make you want to keep reading. Its great because most people can relate to the characters. This book will make you laugh, but it will also make you cry. I would reccomend it to any high school student, but not to anyone younger. It has very strong adult issues such as drugs and sex, but nothing more than you would hear walking the halls of high school. Those things aside, I loved this book, and I plan to finish out this series. I'm addicted.

    undecided

I love this book, i really do. And yes it's addicting to read but i just can't understand how each book is the same. sure, she manages to change up a few details like setting and things about college come into play, but it seems to me that Nate will NEVER change. No matter how each book is he just never will, and that annoys me becuse it's like the same story told again and again. Why don't blair and nate just stay together and serena just be their friends without nate being so flirty with every single other girl he meets. i think a few changes shuld be mad ebut overall, this book IS interesting and everything in it cna get addicitng. The gossip, the drama, name-dropping brands, it is written well it just needs to get a bit mor einteresting and chnage soemthing with nate and blair because they've been bothering me since book 1.
