Wow! You read this and you only wish it were true. The characters are people you know, the writing is lively and full of wit, the ending is the unexpected twist the book jacket promises. I picked it up on the recommendation of a friend and hope I see more from this author.

Loved the story

First off, this book doesn't need to be over 500 pages long. I'm a bit more than halfway through & saw right through the plot after the first 50 pages. There are entire chapters that are unnecessary, one of which was Roxanne's justification for needing a housekeeper. There is also the HORRIBLE depiction of her black housekeeper, which is not only written in an awful dialect, but makes the woman out to seem as dumb as a stump! It's very demeaning. I can see why it's being sold for $.99...
