Jennifer Roberson is one of my favorite writers. People who enjoy the Heralds of Valdemar Series will love this book. The only thing I saw that was a little difficult about it was the interactions between the main characters were somewhat rough at times. Had a bit of "we're from two different worlds" about em. Readers might find bits of themselves in these two characters, or find qualities that remind them of someone they know... This book makes an excellent gift.

This was number 2 in a series of three. I liked it. At times it seemd to drag on a little, but once I got past those parts I couldn't put it down. Tiger and Del are both interedting characters. As usual though the first book was the best.
