    Definitely a must!

This book is absolutely perfect for beginners! (I should know, I am one!) If you don't know a thing about ham radio, this book will have you going in no time. It explains in plain terms most of the confusing jargon used in Amateur Radio. I definitely think that if you want to get into Ham Radio, this book is for you!

    An Excellent Reference Book!

This is an excellent reference book for beginners in ham radio! I use it, and other ARRL publications, when teaching ham radio classes using my own cartoon technician amateur radio ham license manual, 'Ride the Airwaves with ALFA & ZULU'.
