Overview

Most people only know her as Justin Bieber's mom, but Pattie Mallette has had an incredible journey of her own. Many people have heard of her son's rags to riches triumph. They will be encouraged by her example that what was once broken can become whole.Pattie's story will inspire readers to believe that even in the darkest of places, there's always hope. This book is truly a master piece. It really showed a great aspect of all the situations Pattie had gone through while growing up. It takes courage and bravery to stand up for youself not let nobody interfer on what ever it is your doing. Pattie has grown up in a mature manor with her son Justin. This book is a great for people have gone through the same situations as Pattie has. It will help people who struggle in life and in situation where they don't know how to deal with it. Over all this book is just undescrible.

Nowhere but Up is an amazing book. It does not matter if you are a Belieber (Justin Bieber fan) or not. I personally think it is an amazing book for teens because Pattie went through struggles many teens are going through today. It was easy to read, and it is very interesting. :)

This has brought up a number of similiar memories in my own young life. Although difficult to relive them perhaps good, as I realize now later in life, the great job & sacrifice my own mother did & made for me. This is a good read in sometimes we forget celebrities worked hard to arrive in success. That they have overcome much to be what they are today.

Pattie's voice presents itself loudly and clearly: most of her life, she felt unloved. Turning to alcohol, drugs, and teen "love" didn't help her. Her life continued to spiral down, down, down. She even attempted suicide! Even after she turned to God, she reverted to her old habits. The story is told in a straightforward manner. The only caveat I have is that it's a bit wordy, but even so, it is a story worth reading.. Whether or not you're a fan of her son, once you read this true accounting, you'll be a fan of Pattie Mallette. Thank you to Donna Hausler at Baker Publishing Group and Revell for my copy.
