The Book is a through introspection of the violation of young boy's psyche by his mother. Her constant browbeating created a personality fearful of making mistakes as the boy grew to manhood. O'Leary's work is autobiographically written as he tells a story of how he was repeatedly beaten physically and psychologically by his mother who could not deal with life's reality. Highly recommend this book, especially to those who have withstood similar or even identical challenges. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
