It is nice to have this translation available. My only wish is that I would like to be able to enter the specific chapter and verse and go directly there. As I have figured it out, I go to contents to get to the book, then I can select the chapter, but must scroll to the verse. Finding a specific verse quickly is not easily accomplished.

Much better than the Kindle version

I much prefer the Nook version to the Kindle version, which I returned. The formatting on the page is significantly superior.

    ePub Verson Falls Short

I use NRSV, ESV, NASB and NIV for Bible study. The NRSV ePub chap numbers are highlighted in blue, verses are not highlighted at all, footnotes are blue with good touch jump forward/back. Navigation is simple but limited. NRSV falls far short of the others by a wide margin. The ESV is free, NASB is $1.99, and NIV is $5.99. The NASB and NIV are offered in ePup format (not recommended) and as Nook apps (Yes!) by Tecarta. Implemented as a Nook app they offer better navigation, highlighting, and many bookmarking and note taking features not available on ePup format. Tecarta also offers KJV and NKJV apps.

    It is working now!

I wrote the review that I had a black screen and it would not open. I turned my Nook off twice, now it is working. Praise God, now I can read his word.

The Bible I was searching for!

I had been searching for a Bible that used similar language to the Bible I received after confirmation in the Anglican Church during the 1960's. I DID NOT want the Old Testament to refer to God as Jehovah. This Bible is it! In addition, the NOOK format is also extremely easy to navigate. Considering there are 1,999 pages, locating a particular passage is fast.

    Great ebook, but...

I love the ebook version-very easy to find and mark passages, and follow along at Church, but I have one issue. This book is protected by DRM, which means I can only use it on Nook programs from what I've been able to find. I have found a different app for my tablet that I like better, but with the DRM protections I can't read my bible in that app! This is a big problem for me, and if I had known it would be a problem, I would have kept looking for a different version.
