Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Children's Literature
Number Two is a Numberlie. She lives at Two Number Lane in Numbertown. She has two of everything. She is the fastest Numberlie. But that gets her in trouble when she almost hits some cows and crashes her bike. Number One comes to visit her in the hospital and gives her a bell for her bike. Now she is the fastest Numberlie and the loudest. The artwork is fun and cartoony, but the story is clumsy and unimaginative. However, there are many opportunities to practice counting. Part of a series of ten books. 2000, Dorling Kindersley, Ages 4 to 6, $3.25. Reviewer: Kristin Harris—Children's Literature
