Amos Gilat, Ph.D., is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at TheOhio State University. Dr. Gillat’s main research interestsare in plasticity, specifically, in developing experimentaltechniques for testing materials over a wide range of strain ratesand temperatures and in investigating constitutive relations forviscoplasticity. Dr. Gilat’s research has been supported bythe National Science Foundation, NASA, Federal AviationAdministration, Department of Defense, and various industries.

Vish Subramaniam, Ph.D., is a Professor of MechanicalEngineering & Chemical Physics at The Ohio State University.Dr. Subramaniam’s main research interests are in cancerdetection and imaging, plasma and laser physics and processes,particularly those that involve non-equilibirum phenomena.     Great book for engineers and simulink users

    This book has tought me about creating arrays and all about the .mat files and script files. I love the C++ intergration because it makes it easier for the Matlab user to create functions and write script files. This book I do not think integrates enough of simulink, it needs to be more into depth about it. I had to create a low pass filter and could not find anything about the types of filters there are. Overall a great book and will buy more of your series.
