Features: The book is not intended to be a comprehensive primary care textbook, but as a resource to reinforce learning and a guide for entry into primary care practice. It is organized by systems of disorders. Each section provides challenging questions, answers, and a discussion section to enhance learning. Numerous tables highlight the important material and provide the reader with excellent resources.
Assessment: Preparation for the nurse practitioner certification examination is always challenging, but this book provides students with an excellent opportunity to prepare, review, and complete sample questions for self-evaluation. This is an important book that will help nurse practitioner students prepare and gain confidence for the certification examination. It is essential that updated versions of this book are available to keep the material current and accurate.
