I am a long term care nurse, and this book has single handedly made my job much easier. It is very user friendly, and pretty much can make your care plans patient specific with it's huge listing of interventions and rationales. I wish I had this in Nursing School, it would have made my life MUCH MUCH easier! My only complaint is that it needs an alarm sensor in it, because all my coworkers keep tring to runaway with it!

This was my first care plan book. I had no idea how to do a care plan, and thanks to this book I have gotten straight A's on care plans.

I know how much work writing a care plan can be. We have care plans that are 30 pages long and the part that is the most work is nursing diagnosis, interventions, and rationals. The school made us get carpenito and it was a nightmare to use. This book is heaven sent you don't have to go searching around for nursing diagnosis it goes according to the medical diagnosis. After you have the medical diagnosis it gives you everything from nursing diagnosis to interventions and rationals to goals. This book is fantastic. It saves me so so much time when I am doing a care plan. I love it and recommend it to anyone in nursing. The other great thing about it is that you may not be researching everything because it does it for you but you still learn a lot.

I was in Nursing I and I needed some help with my correlation guidelines. I bought this book @ Barnes & Nobles to help with the nursing diagnoses and interventions. I received excellent grades on the correlation guidelines by using this book. It was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this book. I intend to continue using this book throughout my nursing career.
