Overview

With this resource book, I envision a world where our children and those loving adults who raise them, can live a fulfilling life. This reference provides many practical resources and techniques for parents, teachers, therapists, coaches, clergy, and spiritual advisors. It is a compilation of collected resources from many experts' research and data on varied topics, such as communication/learning styles, especially for the new generations of children, 80% of whom are visual-spatial learners stuck in an auditory processing education system. Included topics are techniques for stress reduction, emotional and physical health, reducing depression, anxiety and panic attacks, guiding children through spiritual crises, handling sleep disturbances, and identifying and working with childhood challenges. Material can be found on the labeling and mislabeling of children. Different perspectives are presented concerning several childhood learning and social/emotional difficulties. Throughout out each topic are woven the threads addressing the challenges and joys of living a spiritual/intuitive life. Topics include childhood near-death experiences and past life memories, international psychic research on children, types of intuition explored in-depth and problems specific to intuitive empathic children and teens. Integrative ways of seeing the whole child are presented in terms of communication and learning style, self-esteem and talents, and challenges and cultural differences. There is also information provided for the more severe intuitive problems that may be considered real or illusion, but need to be addressed for the child's sake.
