    Beautiful Illustrations to retell this classic story.

    My daughter loves this book. The pictures are wonderful and she can asks me to read it over and over.

    Follows the Ballet Closely

    I purchased this book for my daughter (age 3) shortly after viewing the ballet on stage. She knew the characters and was able to follow along and know what to expect. While reading the story to her, my boys (age 7 and 5) couldn't wait to hear about the duel with the Mouse King and the travels Clara makes to the Land of Sweets. It was very entertaining and reinforced everything they saw when we went to the Ballet. Definitely something we'll be reading again especially BEFORE we see the Ballet again.

    A Great Intro to the Nutcracker!

    I purchased this for my 4 year-old daughter because we will be going to see the Nutcracker Ballet, and I wanted her to understand the story. It is very age-appropriate for her, and she asks to read it regularly. Hopefully it will help her to grasp what is happening on the stage. Regardless, it's a great version of the story for anyone!
