Smoky sexy seductive, that's how I describe the sound of Nyee Moses. Although I feel her voice is slightly unusual and imperfect because it wavers ever so lightly, still there is something appealing even soothing about it. As for the album, it's light vocal jazz and R&B which at first listen sounds typical of something you'd hear on a "smooth jazz station," there's nothing totally out standing about it. Until you listen to it from beginning to end and you'll find that it's a stylish, eclectic mix of sounds, from lite latin flavors to deep soul and vocal jazz. I have to give her first effort a generous vote because there was somthing about it that stuck with me.

    On The Heel of Sade

Nyee Moses is hot on the heels of the queen of british soul/jazz/r&b Sade. And Nyee is just as sexy and seductive. Her self titled album is sure to please the smooth jazz purest as well as the latin soul and r&b lovers.
