This book is a great work of scholarship that is very accesable to people interested in Tibetan Buddhism, especially helpful for meditators and students of Tibetan religion and culture. Dudjom Rinpoche, the author, is the former supreme head of the Nyingma Lineage, and has been widely renowned in Tibet and the West for his consummate realization and for his profound scholarship. The book is not cheap, but it is well worth the price.
