From the time of the bloody and brutal murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman on June 12, 1994, until he finished writing this book, private investigator and author Dear (O.J. Is Guilty But Not of Murder, 2000, etc.) searched for the truth about what really happened to the two victims on that warm summer night in Los Angeles. The immediate and overwhelming opinion voiced by media, law enforcement and the public in general was clear--O.J. was guilty and there were no other suspects. As a PI, Dear disapproved of the rush to judgment amid a media circus. He probed the case, starting with a comprehensive list of possible perpetrators. One by one he eliminated them until he was left with, in his view, a viable and logical suspect. Here he makes the case that O.J.'s eldest son, Jason Simpson, was the murderer. Like a textbook for investigators, the book exhaustively uncovers, documents and extrapolates information and evidence to support his conclusions.     I couldn't put this book down. I would like to recommend it for anyone that followed this trial. Mr. Dear made me a believer that there was misconduct by the Prosecutors and the Police that led to a miscarriage of justice-i.e. the real killer is still free.

    interesting read!

    I watched the OJ trial years ago, and always had questions. The author of this book had similar concerns and addressed them. My take is that the author did his research on his own dime, which i respect. The book was very informative and painted a very different picture than the one presented in the criminal and civil trials. It was a bit redundant at times, but overall a very good and interesting read.

    Highly recommend!

    I was never completely comfortable with the idea of O.J.'s having murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. There were too many loose ends that remained unexplained. This book, a remarkably well researched delve into the evidence has a solution that neatly ties up those loose ends and presents us with a quite plausible scenario and a hitherto ignored suspect. It made a believer out of me, and now I am disappointed that California authorities are failing to act on this information to seek justice for the victims. I've read this book twice and given a copy as a gift.
