Apart from all of the other bands, O-Town stands alone in the winners circle. Competing with those such as Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, O-Town has a completely different and real sound to it's album. With songs that sound classic such as Love Should Be A Crime, this album gets rid of all of the ''poppie'' sound and adds its own flavour. This gives you a great mix of fast and up beat, slow and touching, and mellow music that just makes you want to move. I give this 5 Stars All the way... And you have to admit, they don't look half as bad as the 40 year olds in Backstreet or the not yet reached puberty N'Sync boys.. Mature, Deserve more credit, and outstanding vocals.

The Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, BB Mak, and 98 Degrees are all perfect examples of today's POPULAR boybands. O-Town is yet another addition to this boyband fiasco. I personally like the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, BB Mak, and 98 Degrees because they're real. They have lyrics that people can actually relate to and lyrics that actually make sense. If you like them, I doubt you'd like this new group from Orlando, or shall I say, O-Town (Florida). O-Town's lyrics are totally ridiculous. Just by looking at they song titles, you get the feeling that these ''boys'' are getting way out of hand with they're feelings about ''Love''. They lyrics are similar to the group, 2ge+her, with their ''nonsense'' music. They sound like a bunch of boys going through puberty telling the whole world what they think. Plus, their words don't even make sense. I'd say that O-Town is just an imitation of the ''popular'' boybands in today's music. They may have the looks, but not the great voices and words of a real boyband. So unless you like 2ge+her, I suggest you buy this album.

I didnt think that Lou Pearlman was going to try it again but he did. Hey if you have a formula for success why not use it. Now by success i mean getting millions of 13 and 14 year old girls to go out and buy the cd. I was appauled when I read the review by SARA from Oregon. Do you really think they have a UNIQUE STYLE AND DANCE MOVES, and above all LYRICS? ARE YOU SERIOUS???? If they were so unique then they probably wouldnt be considered a boy band and they certainly wouldnt be compared to Nsync and Backstreet, who are a million times more talented than any of these O town guys. Not only that if they are soooo unique and talented then why dont they have any writting credits on the album??? or any arrangement credits???? I mean did you even watch the making of the band??? Are you completely tone deaf?? I'm not trying to be mean but come on. Thinking they are cute or whatever is one thing, but dont dare claim that these guys are great singers. Do you know anything about harmony? well obviously not, you think these guys are good. Well in any event, Otowns harmony is truly terrible. Now Nsync, there's harmony. I didnt like those guys at first but I really got a chance to listen to them live and they are truly talented. Which brings up another point about O town. SARA have you heard them prefrom live?? If you have you would probably take that cd and put it where it belongs, in your trash can. The only reason I gave them one star was because they actually got themselves a record deal. I cant believe, well actually I can, how people will buy anything as long as someone else tells them that its good. Honestly if these guys werent on TV as soon as the album came out all of you girls would be saying, ''ooooh these guys stink they are NSYNC wanna be's, Jacob wants to be Justin.'' These guys are not good singers, they had a vocal coach that was always upset with them, if you watched the show you would know what I am talking about. They are not going to experience any sort of staying power like their boy band counterparts. If you guys actually think for a second that these guys are going to be around longer than this one album than you are kidding yourself, not only that but you have strengthened my lack of faith in the intelligence of the American public .Not to mention how easily people will spend money on a cd because someone on TV told them to.

This cd is really good the songs on the cd express who they are. Also there current single Liquid Dreams is a song that you normaly would'nt here it talked about what they wanted in a women. I kinda didnt get what they were singing about it took me a long time befor I did. Also the cd is really enjoyable you dont get tired of hearing and of listening to it. I got my cd the day it came out and i would hope that you go out and get it yourself. The boy's probably would sell alot of cd's due the fact they they were on the tv show Making the band so they where already popular befor they had a cd out. I think the boy have a unique style and they can dance really well.

I bought the O-Town CD the day it came out in stores. I was soooooo looking forward to listening to it cos I've been a faithful MTB viewer and O-Town fan. I was ecstactic when I finally got my hands on it. I rushed home and listened to the whole CD about 10 times. It's *AWESOME*!! Very creative lyrics, etc. No other ''boy band'' could top O-Town's first CD. And if the first CD was this good, I can't wait until the next CD!! O-Town rocks!!!

I've actually watched the making of the band on ABC, and I just knew right then they'll make it to the top. With their talents and cutest looks combine, I couldn't think of anything but hear crazy girls screaming. The band is so so wonderful and it's the greatest boyband ever to come in century, maybe surpassing the beattles, I supposed.

I love O-Town! For being put together as a band in such a short time the group is awesome. Songs like ''Shy Girl'' and ''Baby I Would'' are so sweet. They have a great beat and really sweet lyrics. Also in my opinion Ashley Parker Angel is the hottest guy on the face of the earth.

I am not much of a boy-band fan, but after devotedly watching Making the Band on MTV, I fell very much in love with the boys of O-town and their songs.

Ok. This is my first time buying any record from a boyband. At first, before listening to their album, I was expecting the worst. But then, after listening, they are quite good. The only song that irritates me is All For Love. And yes, the lyrics in this album are just your typical teeny-bopper songs, So don't expect any deep stuff here. All in all, the album has decent songs, interesting tunes and good vocals. O-Town has the potential to be great artists. Just give them time. The next time around, I hope O-Town can contribute in the song writting process.

Alright - I'll admit it. I'm a closet fan of ''Making The Band''. With the birth of our daughter, our social life disappeared and we started looking forwarded to the television show on Friday nights. Always wanting to be in a band, I guess I was living vicariously through these kids. So, on Valentine's Day, my wife gave me the O-Town CD as a gift. Anxious to hear what they produced, I listed to it on the way to work. The powers-that-be made an error in releasing ''Liquid Dreams'' as the first single - #6 ''Shy Girl'' is much better. Of course, I couldn't wait to sing ''All For Love'' and ''Baby, I Would'' since these songs were featured on every episode and I knew all of the words by heart. I sang in the car like I was the sixth band member. Until, I got into my work's parking garage; people were looking at me strange.

Making The Band is an amazing way for an unknown group to become famous. Because the viewers feel a special bond with the group members, the album feels more personal than *NSYNC or even BSB. The songs are catchy, the harmonies solid, and the solos great. An awesome album.
