    Excellent Book!

    This is a great plan for changing your eating habits and treating yourself better. It is very easy to follow and shows great results. I lost 5 pounds on the cleanse and am now in Phase 2. I had a brunch to go to and made the green tea walnut loaf. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. When I told them it was from the O2 Diet book they were shocked that it was "diet food."

    Diet is great! But have not seen other life changes

    I have now been on this diet for two weeks and overall am very pleased with the results. I am a very healthy eater generally, and did not think this diet would really work for me since I ate so many of the foods already, but I was wrong. The only carbs I am really eating are fruits and my portions have been severely cut (and I'm not hungry!) - my two biggest weaknesses. I am 5'2", started at 130 lbs. During the cleanse I lost 5 lbs. and I lost another 3 during week 1. I think the best part is that I am enjoying the foods I'm eating and I don't feel hungry or (too) deprived. The only negative is that I was really hoping to see improvements in my skin, and I have not seen any at all. My energy level was decent before I started this diet as I am an avid exerciser, but it has not changed for better or worse. Which is better than I can say of most diets (which completely zap energy) but it's certainly not a "life change" for me.

    Everyone should go by this book.

    I bought this book more to inform myself of healthy eating habits rather than to loose weight. I allready lived by a pretty strict diet of healthy eating but I feel it is very important to educate yourself. I found this book very informative and easy to go by. I feel the cleanse is probably one of the easiest I have read about. I did do the cleanse but did not follow it exactly, I had a glass of red wine each night, which is allowed but not in the initial 4 day cleanse. I know too many people who have bad eating habits and a lot of these habits are from simply not knowing what food is really doing to them. When I was reading this book I was pretty amazed that most of the foods in the book are what I was allready eating. I did learn a lot about certain spices and that was very informative and good to know. If someone has a significant amount of weight to loose I would highly recommend this book. This diet is a lifestyle, not a diet that you do for a few weeks and then go back to your old eating habits, the weight will just come back. Since I started eating most of the foods in this book my skin looks great. My sister hadn't seen me in a few months and asked if I had some work done, I just laughed and said no, it's what I am eating.

    The O2 Diet by Keri Glassman

    I highly recommend this "feel good" diet. Although, it is not really a diet for me now, but more closely, a lifestyle change that has the side benefit of weight loss. I was amazed at how much better I felt in just a few days on the plan. I have had a virus off and on all winter and a general feeling of sluggishness for months. That all changed after I began to implement the suggestions in O2. I also have a chronic knee problem that was greatly improved. On this food plan, most of the food is high in vitamin C and help to decrease inflammation. I am now able to function well on little to no pain medication. It was amazing! I noticed results in less than a week. As an added bonus my mood has also greatly improved. Consequently, my husband loves it! (Not to mention the "sex requirements" suggested in the book)
    The food for the O2 Diet, is a little expensive initially, but once you've purchased your core supply, some of the food, such as the nuts and spices, can be used over a series of weeks. The food charts found in the book are colorful and well organized. Menus allow you both do-it-yourself options and offer preplanned menus. Shopping lists are also included, as well as a complete list of the best and worst things to eat. I found this information to be very helpful. I also liked the pamper yourself sections and the skin care cleansers and scrub recipes that you can make for yourself at home. Therefore, you can be assured that everything is absolutely fresh. My skin also looked younger in just a few days. The medical information was informative, but not too heady for the average reader. It was enough for anyone to be convinced who had any sort of medical background, but not so much information that the reader became bogged down. Overall, this is a book well worth being include in your permanent library. The O2 Diet is a cutting edge antioxidant program that will indeed make you feel healthy, thin, and beautiful.

    Great

    I saw Mrs. Glassman on a morning show, and bought the book. It was easy enough to follow, but the cleanse is really hard. Check this book out, you won't regret it!

    Wow!!!

    I caught Keri Glassman on a morning tv show extolling the virtues of this book, decided to buy it, and it is soooo easy to do!!!! I lost 5 lbs during the cleanse!! It is all about portion control and GOOD snacking. It was easy enough to follow, and I even had some slip-ups, but I feel really good about what I am putting into my body now!!! Flip to the MENUS after the cleanse and you'll get a good idea of what you are in for!! Check this book out, you won't regret it!

    I feel great!

    My sister recommended this book because I've had a history of skin problems. I am interested in health and decided to try the book even though I figured it wouldn't make a difference on my skin. I am 7 days in and not only is my complexion better but my energy is off the charts! I have done away with artificial sweeteners and I am down 3.5 pounds. Thank you Keri - - my complexion has improved & I feel great!

    Feeling Great

    I started the cleanse that kicks off this program right after New Year. Its been a week and I feel great.... and full:) I always kind of expect to fail with these New Years resolutions but this one has been the easiest and most rewarding I have done. The results are amazing. I feel different and people have started asking me what I am doing differently or if I got my hair cut or lost weight. You've got to love that! Thanks Keri
