A must have for visiting Oahu

This was the second time I purchased this same book. The first one I gave to a friend when he went to Oahu. He found it as valuable as I did. It truly helps you get the most out of your trip, from start to finish. I am planning a second visit and still found that I got great tips from this book for my next trip.

    I Also Recommend:

Oahu Revealed did just that, Revealed Oahu to Us

We enjoyed reading and using the Oahu Revealed guide. It is well written, has funny references that made us laugh, but it was indeed up to date and filled with helpful information. Our hike to Diamond Head was particularly spot on with the data contained in the guide as were the references to Waikiki Beach, hotels, etc. If you want a book worth its weight in good data then this is the book for you.

    A reviewer

We recently moved to Oahu and this series of books was recommended by my sister who had used the Kauai book a few years before. It has yet to steer us wrong. I have only disagreed with one review but I had already been to the restaurant before I read their review. :-) I highly recommend this book or any of the books for the other islands. It is a great insiders/unsolicited information. No one is paying him to say nice things about their attractions and restaurants and he has some great local stories included as well. Enjoy!

    Super Informative Guide

Checked out a bunch of guides from library and this one was one I had to own. Way too many tips and suggestions in it to take notes on. Really excited about upcoming trip and think this will be a wonderful addition to our travels

Great Hawaiian travel books, the best!

My husband and I first discovered this series on our honeymoon years ago and have totally trusted it on all islands we have visited since. You get great ideas for places off the beaten path ..hikes, snorkeling, etc. I would highly recommend any of the series.. this book was actually purchased as a bday gift for a friend of mine who was getting ready to visit the aloha state, that's how much we like it!

    I Also Recommend:

Don't go to Hawaii without it!

I have been a frequent visitor to Hawaii and thought I knew a lot, but boy was I wrong! This series rocks. The only thing I don't like is that the snorkeling section is combined with the beaches. Great honest restuarant reviews by authors who actually live in the state and don't take money to be in the books from the places they review like other guide books. Indepth, honest, funny....I can go on & on. The only guide books you will ever need.

    Indispensable Guide

This is a great book - both to read before a trip for preparation and as a reference book while on the island.

I just returned from my first trip to Oahu and every time we wanted any kind of information about directions or things to do we always turned to this book - and it always had something helpful to say.

In addition to being very informative, it's also very entertaining to read. It's divided into very logical sections that make it easy to find the info you are looking for on the fly.

I highly recommend this book! We left every other travel book we brought in the hotel room. But this one was in our bag every time we ventured out.
