FYI for all people reading the reviews posted here or elsewhere,

FYI for all people reading the reviews posted here or elsewhere, there was a problem with the printing of the first run of books.  I know this because I contacted them directly and like many other people was given a full refund directly by them (even though I bought the book from a third party) and given the corrected information.  As of the date of this review, the problems are fixed.  I can confirm because I went ahead and bought one of the new ones to be sure.  Overall, this is actually far and away the most helpful book I used in preparing for the OAR.  All section are covered well, and the math section specifically (which had the problems with the printer initially) has all problems with detailed explanations and zero errors that I encountered.

I was a bit apprehensive when I heard the first version of this

I was a bit apprehensive when I heard the first version of this book was not always easy to follow. That being said, I'm glad I took the chance to purchase the newer version of this study guide because I thought it was great. The practice questions especially were very helpful in preparing me for the exam.

Don't waste your money! This book is horrible. The book just doe

Don't waste your money! This book is horrible. The book just doesn't explain nearly enough, especially on the math review. It's staggering how lacking this book is. There are a lot of mistakes in the math theories and guidelines section. Also, there are countless of math problems that are wrong. How are you supposed to study when the questions and answers are wrong? Also, they explain problems the hardest way possible. I am a former US Navy Officer, and have used countless guides over the years, and none come this close to being so bad. It would almost be better to use no guide. I have taken the ASTB, and can guarantee you this is not what you should buy.
