    We read but Congress doesn't!

I am so happy that there is a book that the average tax paying citizen can see how we will be screwed without being kissed! Obamacare - will cost trillions of dollars to only find out that Medicare benefits will be cut & if you have a doctor you are fond of....most likely won't be your doc....especially if he stops taking Medicare patients. The author did a better job than most of the Congressmen, because we know that SHE DID READ THE OBAMACARE HEALTHCARE.

Good summary, but a bit too preachy

If you're looking for a basic summary, this is a good start. There aren't many specifics, but the main points are explained in a non-technical, easy-to-read manner. One warning, the author's personal feelings often creep into the narrative. But it's nearly impossible to find anything unbiased on this subject.

    Great book!

This book is amazing for analyzing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in its entirety. For a graduate student pursuing a MA degree in Health Care Administration this is the book is the one you want. It covers every aspect from the beginning of the legislation to its full impact in the next 20 years.

Very little information that I hadn't already leaked out about Obamacare on TV and radio.

DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$ or YOUR TIME--Seems to me that Nick Tate simply "scanned the 2000+ pages of the health care bill that was drafted and submitted by Barry Obama's "hand-picked czars". No specific facts that will help you retain your family's way of life as you know it. What little he did clue us in on just added to our fears of what is about to befall upon my husband and I and convinced us that there's not a damned thing we can do about it 'cause the "big wheels" are already in motion and picking up speed. All we can hope for is that Supreme Court Justice Roberts as well as everyone who re-elected B.O. are the MOST affected by this inhumane medical fiasco!! It could very well be that Nick Tate IS one of the "creative czars"!

This book is definitely for the Low Information voter - but it is also very informative for the medium-to high information voter. Most likely even though you might understand the impact of Obamacare, you most likely do not know exactly what is in store for you once this is fully implemented. All the hidden taxes and fees. Do you know that if you are a smoker, you will be fined $4,000 annually above the premium you will be charged? Did you know that there is a Medical Device tax? And did you further know that if you are overweight, you will be taxed per pound of excess weight annually. This is in addition to being accepted or denied medical care based on the net Quality of Life Years you have left as determined by the Health and Human Services Secretary – Kathleen Sebelius. (This is where the Death Panels come in) This book is a must read for anyone who wants to be prepared for the full impact of government intrusion in their lives. The book clearly outlines how expensive health care is once it’s free. The authors go through every single aspect of the 2,700 page bill – the largest bill ever “passed” by congress in world history. Each of the 15-chapters focuses on a specific aspect of the bill, placing it in plane easily understood every-day language. If this book was published before the elections, its most likely Obama would not have been re-elected, let alone elected at all.

    Sheeple

Some people may not be able to spell, but they can't be that stupid if they aren't buying into Obama's crap. This book is not helpful, because America is still screwed. If you do understand Obamacare, then you should be aware of the consequences. This book did nothing for me except piss me off more. Don't be a follower.

If you're interested in how the teabaggers distort the facts regarding the Affordable Care Act, this is the book for you! It comes from an alternative universe, where facts are irrelavent, and right-wing talking points are accepted as universal truth. It is republikan reading, inside the "Bubble".

    Really??

Gosh, guys, I'm sure glad you guys who are so critical of Obamacare don't have pre-existing conditions (think diabetes, cancer) and have great health insurance that you can afford and that won't drop you when they find out how sick you are, or your kids are. Believe it or not, many people can't afford health insurance and they are working!! (don't know why I'm wasting my energy)

A few facts in the book, but mostly fiction. Lots of lies and distortions. Based on a right wing reporters viewpoint, sponsored by Newsmax and advertised/marketed like crazy on Fox News. Trump, Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly love this book - so what does that tell you.

Good reference for the anti-ObamaCare position, light on fact or balance. The book identifies several of the issues the ACA (ObamaCare) introduces to our society. The writer is clearly pushing an anti-ObamaCare agenda. The presentation identifies changes then states an intended potential benefit followed by expounding negative rhetoric. The reader needs to have excellent critical thinking skills to separate the facts from opinion. Data referenced is dated and requires updating this action will demonstrate that the projections made are no longer supported.
