Meet the Author

I'm a UK based author specialising in historical paranormal fiction, with all of my stories linked in some way. Immortal witches, spiritualist mediums and street magicians populate my books, along with many other supernatural characters and creatures and even the occasional 'normal' person too, though these are rare. My protagonists tend to be offbeat characters that refuse to be defined by their sense of morality, their incredible powers, or even a pulse. Good or bad, Laura Spencer, James Grey, Georges Steil and Catherine Heppelwhite are not characters that you will easily forget.

More information about my books can be found on my website, including a suggested reading order and some clues as to what lies in store for the characters of Revived, a serial in 21 parts available for free here.

    Interesting plot

I chose to read this book because there was no synopsis and I like surprises. A traveling magician learns about a plot to end the lives of millions of people to spare them the horrors of the future to come. Aghast our hero tries to protect those he loves, in case he fails, while simultaneously endeavoring to foil the plot. Abundant with quirky characters and situations the author loses momentum by an extremely slow pace. Alas I confess I only read so far, then skipped to the end. Perhaps another reader will delve further than I.
