Audience: The audience is mainly psychiatrists and psychiatry residents, psychologists, and social workers, as well as primary care physicians who are likely to face these patients in office settings.
Features: Part of the book is reserved for uncomplicated obsessive-compulsive disorder, its diagnosis and different treatment strategies which are discussed in great detail. Extensive pharmacological information, anticipated complications, and suggested policies to overcome those difficulties are included. In another section, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders are covered including Tourette's disorder, skin picking, nail biting, obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and many others. Each chapter has treatment planning guidelines summarizing treatment strategies.
