Meet the Author

The Legend of Zelda is a high-fantasy adventure based on the wildly successful and long-running video game series by game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. In February 2000, Shogakukan began publication of manga artist Akira Himekawa’s adaptation of nine of the most well known Nintendo games in the series. Each story follows the adventures of Link, the hero of the video game series, as he battles the forces of evil to save the Sacred Realm.

This manga is really good, just like it's game counterpart. It sticks to the game's story well and is funny, action packed, and amazing. It's really good.

My 11 years old son is addicted to everything about Zelda! And he absolutely loved it! He read both books at least 5 times since Christmas. Best of all...We are from Quebec and teaching English to our sons. I thought that buying books, i was sure at 100% he would love, in English was a great idea! I was still scared, but nope! He wants the whole collection now! In English! I rated the book 5 stars, according to him, obviously, 'cause i didn't read them. And also the fact you have to read the book from the end can be disturbing...but it wasn't big deal for him.

Masterfully adapted story from the Legend of Zelda video games. Abundant in humor, but sticking to the honor and valor of the characters. Quick and easy read.

This is the best manga ever. This includes bonus chapters which tells what happens before Link met Navi which fits the story really well! I am quite impress with this manga. Get this if you're a Zelda fan looking for more adventures with Link, Navi, and all the other characters. :)
