Rosewoman sings "We Are," and comes up with fresh statements on John Coltrane's "Lazy Bird," Charles Mingus' "Weird Nightmare," and Lee Morgan's "Nite Flite," along with five of her own originals. A fine overall introduction to the straight-ahead side of Michele Rosewoman's music.
