True to the theology it proposes, this book does not take a top-down view, but rather observes how the divine is emerging from the ground up. The authors provide an offering for our own reflection, resonance and participation. Because much of the content is experiential, readers without a formal theological background will find the language and ideas accessible.

There are lots of ways to look at this "Occupy" movement. Some are: How does this effect Wall Street? How does this effect me? Will this enfleunce my kids? This book was not designed to specifically address these topics, if it was it would not deserve 5 stars. This book addresses the background and spirit of this movement from the perspective of Religion, primarily the Bible. Like the movement or not, cheer the movement on or be annoyed by it, once you have looked at the movement from the lens provided by "Occupy Religion" you will feel a new comfort with it, maybe a new hope for it.Was this review helpful?
