This little book contains some interesting excursions this Dr. of Marine biology went on with other crew. The author/scientist/ocean explorer writes well but I would've liked to hear some more personal input. In some places he presents a diary/log like format of the days spent on the ocean. If you're at all interested in Marine Biology or anything having to do with the ocean, you shouldn't pass up this 'free' opportunity to see what a real scientist has done. This book contains a lot of recently obtained facts about deep ocean life.
