Overview

MERMAID ADULT FANTASY

Down on South Beach, Marissa's works her tail off as a junior broker...well, not literally, but enough to get noticed. She scores the chance to step up as lead broker for a major seaside property deal. Huge opportunity! While ecstatic, she's left scrambling in a major CYA minutes before she meets her new client, an international land developer. Expecting a loud suit, she gets the surprise of the century when the gorgeous man in her doorway happens to be her new client. Wyatt Herndon isn’t a pushover and Marissa soon learns just what a hardass he has and is when her new client demands she attend to all his needs. In less than convention terms, she agrees to be on Wyatt's beck and call non-stop for two days. There might be a problem. Marissa’s a mermaid, hiding out on Ocean Drive. Worse, tonight is a full moon...the one night she must return to the ocean at midnight.

It's also Valentine's Day and this one night is known as the Hunger Moon. A time for mermaid mating, Marissa finds she's unstoppably mesmerized by Wyatt. She craves things that have nothing to do with real estate…things she’s never experienced. Not once since sex and Marissa haven’t seen eye-to-eye and secretly she wears the big ‘V’ on that score.
Wyatt's more than captivated by his broker with her sexy as hell body and inflexible business morals. Not to mention the huge amount of déjà vu going down when it comes to him and Marissa. So much, he's willing to throw away his whole land deal to appease his red-hot hunger to possess and protect his little realtor.

Sparks fly during the day, but over dinner their raw physical chemistry flares. Marissa and Wyatt can't keep their hands off each other and during a night of mind blowing sex, they’re put on a collision course with destiny.

Wyatt's convinced he has found the perfect woman until Marissa disappears. Over the next 24 hours he uncovers her secrets and must decide if he's in too deep to turn away from love or is this the doorway he’s been searching for over the last two years when his memory went missing.

Meet the Author

When faced with writing about my hometown (Miami, Florida) and my past experiences as a science teacher, I thought it only right that part of the profits from the sale of Ocean of Love be donated to Ric O'Barry's work with saving dolphin from slaughter. I've been a supporter of the Dolphin Project prior to the publication of this book and am happy to contribute 25% of the profits from the sale of this book to this worthwhile cause. This is a fairytale, a romantic lovestory, and there are erotic scenes that are meant for adult readers.

Biography
"I love the concept of falling in love. The type of romantic journey that is so intense, it's borders on insanity."--Susan D. Taylor

After growing up in Miami, she moved to Nashville where she taught biology and special education for years. No longer a public school teacher, Susan now writes about consuming passion, how attraction plays out, and characters that are either going to incinerate or meld like ribbons of warm caramel.

Susan lives with her husband, two blue heelers, two cats, a gecko and a snake. An RYT 200 (Yoga Alliance) practicing in vinyasa flow when she's not writing her next hot romance.

    Slightly disappointing

Could have been richer, and more erotic. There were parts where the characters could have been more, and make the book so much better, yet they seemed held back. Kind of weak, but overall an ok quick read.

    Not bad

A good story line (300+ pg) yet slightly disappointing. This has the potential of being an extremely erotic read with better descriptive words (instead if using pu**y throughout the whole book). The male lead is described as manly with a weighty presence but the words he speaks are sissy-ish. This was a freebie and I enjoyed it...I've paid top dollar for worse.
