Meet the Author

C. Patrick Neagle has been writing since he was "knee-high to a short grasshopper," as his grandfather would say. His columns and essays have appeared regularly in print and online. He has also: worked the "slime line" at an Alaskan salmon cannery; fought his way through third-shift at an all-night convenience store; fought customers in retail; worked as a professional lawn mower; dabbled in the private investigation field; and taught college-level English classes onboard U.S. Navy ships. He has also taught in regular colleges, and at a high school in Mexico. He currently lives in Springfield, Missouri.
