Meet the Author

I am southern writer who enjoys writing about the southern living I grew up in. I am divorced and work at a nearby college. I live about fifty miles north of Nashville, Tennessee in the town of Gallatin. I enjoy sharing my stories with the readers, which I hope find the stories appealing. I write mysteries, crime thrillers, and suspense. My books touch on various subjects dealing with today’s society of the yester years. I write short story collections with the hope of sharing a variety of my stories for the reader’s enjoyment. I want to be an effective writer with positive stories that bring the reader down to a good old country story with a lot to say.

    Cloudy

Cloudripple stealthily led the clan into the undergrowth around the clearing. 'On my mark,' she mouthed to the clan, raising her tail. She gestured to the stone den in the middle to the rest of her group, indicating that Velvetstar was inside.
Bluefleet swallowed her nervousness, hiding in the bushes.

    Nova

Nova easily caught wind of the cats nearbye and gave a discreet nod to Blaze who prompty disappeared into a tree trunk. Skylight followed and sat in front of the trunks opening so Blaze wasnt seen while he took the only entrance into the cave. He pushed past the dirt wall and yanked the half dead cat by her scruff. Knowing he couldn't exit with the cat in tow, he dug to the other side of wall and came out behind the den. Eight other foxes waited for Blaze and surrounded him so that Velvetstar wasn't visible from outside. After moonhigh, Nova and Skylight were the only two left, each of the others had silently slipped away. He gave her a nod and the last two set off, leaving the camp desserted. (We are now at a different search result, its listed in one of the Horse Cat books.)

    Velvetstar

Velvetstar heavily lifted her head as she recoved from the loss of another life. She opened the one good eye to see nothing but darkness and closed it again. She layed her head back down in the chilling mud hole, having no strength nor will to try and move. She lay motionless, in a pit of blood and thick mud, barely the ability to think. But she hoped Horseclan still cared despite her past mistakes. -Velvetstar- Hey Horseclanners just an fyi, Goldenstripe is due back home tommorow evening!
