    Not ID garbge!!!

Though this book is one of ID's groundbreakers, it is not the best example of why ID is the better theory on the origin of life. Darwin's Blackbox and Signature in the Cell are probably the stronger arguments. As for the Darwinian's revered book, Kenneth Miller's "Only a Theory," it is definitely a good read, I don't doubt that, but is not at all convincing!! His solution to the irreducible complexity problem is humorously vague and juvenile and his argument in favor of 'junk DNA' and 'gene deserts' is flat out wrong.

Systematic study of the nature and behaviour of the material and physical universe.

If the religious theory of evolution should be taught in are public funded schools then, ID should also. Because both are faith based, final a book that has some science and truth to it. The old miscalculated arguments of evolution have been going against science for too long. Fair and balanced, buy this book if you are an open minded evolutionist. Don't but science in a black box. This evo. Theory goes against too many laws to be real science.

    I Also Recommend:

    Awful and Biased

This book should never be used in the classroom. It takes Creationism and calls it Intelligent Design (ID). The book is a marketing tool for the proponents of ID. People say that ID should be taught as an alternative to evolution. This is not true. ID is not a science and thus does not belong in any science classroom. Read 'Only a Theory' by Kenneth Miller if you want to understand way ID is dangerous.

    What about the FSM?

While this tekst dos a good job of showing Darwin was evil, it don't do enuff to address the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the One Who created everything.

    Unintelligent design

Unhappily, this work ignores all the geologic evidence of the timespan of evolutionary development, misrepresents evolutionary predictions on DNA sequences, ignores published reports on intermediate forms between ancestral terrestrial fauna and current species of whales, makes no testable predictions about plant or animal biology and should simply not be categorized as a scientific effort of any value.

    FANTASTIC ! ! !

Of Pandas & People is a fantastic book. It presents a better alternative to the Theory of Evolution. All Christian schools that teach the theory of evolution should also present this as an alternative. After reading this it is much harder to buy into the whole concept of evolution.
