Jeff Ambrose's love affair with science fiction, fantasy, and horror began when, as a young boy, he used to watch old monster movies down in the basement. When he was ten, he saw the American Express commercial with Stephen King, which made him curious enough about the King of Horror that he pulled one of King's novels down from his mom's bookshelf and read it in a matter of few days. That turned him on to reading, which, in turn, led him to try writing his own stories.
Besides writing science fiction, fantasy, and horror, Jeff also writes mystery and crime fiction under the name Mark Sled. Sometimes he'll commit literary fiction.
He lives in North Texas with his wife and four children. You can find him on the web at writerjeffambrose.com.
