Meet the Author

New York Times bestselling author Ilona Andrews is a pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team of Gordon and Ilona.

Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)

Gordon and Ilona currently reside in Oregon with their two children, three dogs and a cat. They have co-authored two series, the bestselling urban fantasy of Kate Daniels and romantic urban fantasy of The Edge.

You can find them and more fiction at http://www.ilona-andrews.com/.

    Fun Read, interesting plot

This book was funny, though I still feel it was too short to tell the entire tale. However, for a quick, light read it's a great pick. It helps if you've read some of Ilona Andrews' Edge novels, but not completely necessary.

    Quick Read - Cute Story

Even though I pretty much knew how this was going to end - it was a cute story and something quick to read while waiting at the dr. office.

    Great!

I really enjoyed this short story. Part of me read it to get a feel for the writing style, to see if I would enjoy other books by Ilona Andrews; hearing so many things about her, but still being a skeptic...I'm glad I did. It was very worth my .99 to download and quickly read. I think a 13-year-old would really love it! Highly Recommended
