Overview

'Cowboy' Charlie Mosby worked on a horse ranch in Heber, Utah. He loved his work, the owners of the ranch, and his co-workers; wranglers who helped tourists with guided horse tours and trail riding all year round.
But after a chance meeting with a handsome gay man who had helped Charlie change a flat tire on Interstate 80 a month ago, Charlie was beginning to wonder about his sexuality. And if that wasn't confusing enough, strange things were happening on the ranch.
Satanic worship? A strange cult ritual? Whatever it was, it wasn't good for the owners or the horses on it.
One night Charlie stumbles upon Roman Burk in the woods, naked, bleeding and shivering in the cold. What Charlie never imagined was who -or what- Roman was. Even though the handsome stranger seemed to vanish at times and reappear as if by magic, Charlie was infatuated by this man.
Roman was fearful of revealing his secret. Most of all to a cowboy who was spending more time hunting him, than loving him.
In this shape-shifting story of sexual bonding and discovery, can both Charlie and Roman find what they're looking for? It's a question of honor; one that has been up for debate since the first time man set his eyes on this formidable predator. It's about the mutual respect of Wolves and Men.

"Of Wolves and Men" by author G.A. Hauser focuses on the intermingled lives of the two heros: Charlie Mosby --the hot cowboy-- and Roman Burk --the hot shapeshifting wolf-- and when they meet, the sparks fly. With strong sexual tensions the reader knows this is going get good. And with a title that is catchy and reminiscent of Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men -this piece has its literary moments of achievement, but mostly this is just a fun story about a paranormal-dangerous- liaisons. The author uses humor, wit, and gives her characters enough realistic appeal to make the novel stand out among the plethora of other paranormal books about wolves. The heros feel real and that is vital in a story for me. She could have gone the easy route and wrote an erotic novel with not much depth as many do relying primarily on the "sex" factor. But author G.A Hauser instead layers the novel, like a good onion.with man VS man, man VS self, and if we consider the "wolf" , even man VS animal (sometimes in a good way;) She incorporates witchcraft to demonstrate shapeshifting as a curse. The story follows the individual Roman, not a clan which I found interesting. (Since most wolf stories revolve around clans). A unique twist on the shapeshifting phenomenon. With a dash of suspense, a cup of sexual tension, a pinch of self-discovery, and an ounce of paranormal -this novel has something for most readers. Of course, you have to be one who favors the mix of paranormal and M/M. But I recommend this for readers who enjoy paranormal and M/M, who are of course 18 and older. Her website is: She has a grand selection of titles with a variety of themes for any voracious reader. This has been Ami Blackwelder -author of the Shifter Evolutions Saga-
