This is fantastic suspense that grabs you from the very beginning. It has some elements of mystery as you learn more and more about this extremely likable and complex main character. (The main character is Geri LaRue. She is hearing-impaired. She's also featured in another book I read recently and loved by this same author, CUTLINE.) Very moving and very satisfying. It ended too soon!

Geri LaRue is my favorite Bonnie Hearn Hill character. She's got style and spunk, and she never lets minor obstacles get in her way. This book starts out with a bang. With Geri's career on the slide, she becomes the beneficiary of a murdered woman's estate. The thriller that follows will have you turning pages into the night, with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. Love it!
