    Fun to read

The author is down to earth and realistic about thoughts and advice. There are links to some good seed sites. Humor makes this a fun read and the pictures are plentiful as well.

    Refreshingly honest!

Very short look at a handful of unusual plants. If the pictures weren't so beautiful, you might think she was a lousy gardner! But not every seedling grows, and it was nice to hear her trials and errors. Links for online seeds work.

Its was strange that most of the vegtables the author told the story about either didnt grow or turned out poorly

Very good for a free Nook Book

Lots of good color pictures which I like and need. Author cites her successes and failures which is a big help. Nice little reference book.

Not impressed at all. I deleted it off my Nook; not worth taking up memory.

Recommend if you are looks for something different.

Some of the " offbeat edibles " sounded interesting and I will be interested in trying and looking forward to grow and eat. Author makes suggestions of certain edibles that can be grown in my zone that increases my interest to research different seed catalogs to find these edibles.
