I own several books in the "For Dummies" series and I like their humorous approach to technical topics. When I installed Office 2003, I was looking for a general guide to the many individual programs in this software and I naturally turned to "Office 2003 for Dummies." This book is not an authoritative guide to the vast power of Office 2003, but serves as a good general reference to what the software can do for you. It has just enough information to introduce the user to the basic features of each individual program, such as Word and Excel. If you find that you want to really get into an individual application, I would suggest purchasing something like my recommendations, which contain a more in-depth treatment on a particular Office 2003 application. All things considered, this book represents a highly readable, bargain-priced introduction to Office 2003. An easy recommendation to computer users of all levels.
