When my employer loaded MSOffice 2007 on all our machines and provided no training to get us through the changes, I bought this book. There are many positives to this book. It is well organized and thoroughly researched. Unfortunately, when the Office function you are attempting learn or the Office malfunction you are trying to resolve don't act the same way the book says they will, there are no alternatives. This remains my owner's manual of choice, I'm just not happy with this latest version of office.

The Book was very helpful for me as I prepared to take a test at college on all Microsoft 2007 Office products. It was a great reference tool to turn to when I was not sure of how certain things should be formatted. I recommend it highly.

When my hard drive died and I had to buy a new comupter, I had to install Office 2007 since it wouldn't take my old software. Although I haven't had time to go through this book and see all the new features (which I really want to do), it has been very helpful. I use excel and word a lot and there are a lot of changes from the older versions. When I come up against something I don't know how to do in 2007 version, I just look it up in the dummies book and my problem is solved. I would recommend this book to anyone who had to update their software to Office 2007.
