Meet the Author

Matt Katzer created KAMIND in 1998 to supply solutions using Microsoft and Intel Technologies for small- and medium-size business. Prior to creating KAMIND, Matt worked for Intel Corporation for 17 years managing Engineering development and IT projects. After leaving Intel, Matt pursued the development of technology-related inventions and holds 19 domestic and international patents in related areas. Matt s focus with cloud solutions started in 2009, looking at ways that businesses could improve productivity and reduce operating costs. Matt holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan and an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon.


Don Crawford has more that forty five years of experience in designing and coding user interfaces, data base systems, online systems and instruments. He remembers when information technology was called data processing and the only color on a computer screen was green. During this time, Don has consulted in networks, security, project management and strategic planning. He has managed departments and companies, as well as working for local government, Software ag, First Interstate Bank, Tektronix, CACI, Oregon Health & Science University and LocalDial. Don’s consulting has supported hospitals and medical organizations, technology companies, service companies, startups, nonprofits, and more. He has always been interested in creating software and documentation that makes it easy for people to get real value with their use. Don is CTO for Lead IT Consulting.
