Overview

Office Politics: Blue and Red America Collide is a unique perspective on how Americans discuss politics. This is a collection of email threads between four white-collar businessmen debating social spending and foreign policy; WMDs and Rush Limbaugh.

It's a partisan fight conducted through the simple rapid-fire language of email. You'll find someone here to cheer for no matter which side you're on and you won't stop laughing. There is no moderator. Nothing is "politically correct".

Consider Jay on Taxes: "...and I am sick to death of sanctimonious liberals like you telling me I can be a better human being if I vote for more and more money to go from my child's college fund to pay for some other moron's brat to get free lunches...what is your response, you pile of crap!"

Or Anthony on the EITC, "That's a real good point, Ryan. I think my dog made that same point yesterday all over a fire-hydrant."

Office Politics is how real men talk about the issues, when Blue and Red America collide.

    Great Read!

This book is like eavesdropping on an interesting conversation. Personalities develop and an entire story unfolds through the emails between four colleagues about politics. It's fascinating! They get frustrated and lose their cool sometimes .. other times they're calm and articulate. They clash on almost everything. But they can't stop, and I didn't want them to. I could have kept reading ... I'm ready for OP II. You nod your head along with them, or chide them silently. It's a very original book. I loved it and am giving one to a pain in the a** college roommate for Christmas!
