    great resource for Scrabble

This is a great resource for Scrabble, and it looks good with the Scrabble Onyx set. We use it in challenges for every game and sometimes to research words between games. It could be only topped by future editions of itself.

Great Companion to Onyx Edition Scrabble!

This scrabble dictionary is a classy and convenient "Must Have" for Onyx Edition Scrabble owners! I was tickled to discover the scrabble dictionary that prompted me to finally buy one!

    it is missing pages

My copy is missing pages. I don't know if it's true for all copies of this book. It makes it rather useless. I would have returned it but I got rid of the receipt before I noticed the missing pages. Keep your receipt and check for missing pages!

Large Print Makes Looking Words Up Much Easier

This dictionary is much easier to use than its smaller-print editions, but it's also a real hoot! My husband and I now play UPWORDS, a 3-dimensional, much more challenging and interesting form of Scrabble, and I know that we Scrabble and UPWORDS players need all the words we can find, but I swear that many of these have been concocted by the people who assembled the volume. There are the most unlikely verbs, created out of nouns, that I've ever encountered. It's also loaded with foreign words, which I had thought were forbidden--but maybe the rules have changed since we went to UPWORDS. But since it's basically the only game in town of a manageable size (unlike the Oxford American Dictionary), this large-print version is really wonderful.
