Meet the Author

I'm an English ex-pat living in France with my family and a lot of animals, including llamas and carp. I was a bestselling author in Ireland, where we lived for 15 years before we moved to our new home here. I've recently relaunched my writing career, but this time as an indie ebook author and publisher. It's the twenty-first century after all!

    Fun to read

This is an entertaining little story set on a farm in Ireland. Rich, smart Auntie from the city comes to babysit Robyn and Paul for the weekend while their parents go to a farming conference. Auntie doesn't like mud or animals or fresh vegetables and certainly not eggs straight out of a chicken's ... well, you know which bit they come out of! Robyn and Paul play a few tricks on her. However, there's more to Auntie than meets the eye and she comes to the rescue of a neighboring farmer, even if she does knock down a gatepost on the way as she drives a tractor for the first time!
