Okay, America!: Alternate Takes and Rarities

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Scott Yanow
An expansion of the earlier Lp, this valuable CD features a lot of rare performances by one of the premiere jazz vocal groups, the Boswell Sisters. The many alternate takes should appeal to longtime collectors familiar with the Boswells better-known recordings, Connee Boswell is featured on guest appearances with Red Nichols and the Casa Loma Orchestra and there are some unusual medleys. Classic jazz fans will want to get this one.
