Overview

Christina Ferrare shocked the country-and herself!-when she revealed something very personal on her live talk show, Home and Family-that over the last few years she had experienced a lack of sexual desire. Her relevation prompted appearances on Oprah and Dateline NBC, and she began to hear from hundreds of women who described their own experiences and were glad to know that they were not alone.

Based on information from her own doctors and other medical experts and authoritative sources, Okay, So I Don't Have a Headache helps women understand their own bodies and begin to find answers for themselves. Ferrare talks about nutrition, stress, and sexual desire, dealing with the symptoms of menopause and PMS, and how diet, exercise, and relaxation rituals work to keep the body in balance. The book also includes Ferrare's own recipes designed to help out-of-whack hormones.

An underestimated book that deserves better

I'm a man who saw this, agreed with it and bought it for a customer, friend of mine. The author tells you how she was able to solve her low libido, thus saving a possible marriage from breaking up. Many disagreed with this advice because they don't understand how the human body works. Doctors will tell you that diet and exercise makes a big difference in the way we all feel. This is more than just a cookbook. It's also about your stress levels and what goes on in your daily lives, which can be a factor worth considering. The doctors will tell you the same thing you will read here. Too many readers have closed minds and are reluctant to change their lifestyle for their love ones. Because of that, they probably still have a low libido. It doesn't necessarily have to be about a medical cure! Too many readers didn't REALLY read what she was trying to state. She also states that not all human bodies are the same, what works for her may not work for others. I recommend this to my readers. It's just another point of view on what may be the problem. Perry Rose, author of I Love You...Will You Marry Me?!

    Sex Book? NOPE, A COOKBOOK!!!

After seeing Ferrare on 'Larry King Live' (Actually, Deborah Norville from 'Inside Edition' was filling in for Larry that night) a few weeks back, I thought I check on that book. Good for the first 100 pages, but, then the rest becoming a cookbook!!! I'll stay out of this one!
