The tale of WaterClan

    &star Book one: Waterstar &star

WaterStar's blue pelt rippled. LillyHeart had left many moons ago. Her clan had slowly died out. As she waited for NorthernKit to hurry along, she felt imensly sad. ArcticKit had passed, and her mate had deserted her. She felt a pang of greif as she remebered tsnamifang. He had been to good, and loved her to swiftly. The kit watched her mothers grey snout push her into the camp. "Mommy!" she cried as Waterstar left her kit sadly. "Mommy please!" Waterstar tredged on, knowing that her sacrifice was not in vainity, and her life would soon end. This cat knew that when she walked she made no past, and had no future.

"WaterFur! You rascal!" A large tom said happily. "You know you shouldn't be so sneaky!" Waterfur turned. "I am to scare you mudfur, and I just might be the death of you!" She purred. A few previous moons from today she was an apprentice. Now, as she slide on the arctic Ice, she smiled. Mudfur was so easy to scare! She and Mudfur raced back to camp, and suddenly waterfur saw the ice brake apart. There was no way to camp. She smelled something in the air. Suddenly the ice from camp caught fire. She yowled in anticipation. "Mother!" She screamed. "Father!" Mudfur slid slowly as the ice began to make a crack. Waterfur watched as she plunged into the black dark sea.
