Overview

When Land Parrish and his homicide team open the investigation in what appears to be a simple tired case of murder of a simple tired man, they have no idea the lengths in miles, years and hatred on which he is embarking.
Nor can he imagine the rending effects on his relationship with the loving April Flowers that will emerge as he wends his way through the intrigues of the latent Armenian war on modern Turks.
How can he be stalwart working side by side with the beautiful Turkish agent, Ebru, yet be completely unbalanced by a single evening with Yesim--a woman he's seen only once before?
When it's all over, will shaving his mustache and returning to the dangerous streets of the Big Easy make it really be all over?

I enjoyed this book. It was a good read, but a little choppy in areas where I felt that I missed something, but overall a pretty good book.
