Good medicine for those of us past 55

OLDER COUPLES: NEW COUPLINGS is a book well worth having on your bookshelf whether or not you are single, divorced, married, happy alone or searching for a mate, especially if you are approaching or are already enjoying your 'golden years'. Having been single for many years, I am personally quite content living alone and cannot imagine hunting for a partner. I read the section about looking for a partner and chuckled, having been there in the past. However, the book has so much valuable information for seniors of both sexes that I am sure I shall refer to it often when I have a question about numerous subjects, from nutrition and exercise to legal matters. It's the kind of book you can skip around in according to your needs. There are not many books that discuss an array of subjects of interest and importance to older persons with such candor, acceptance, and detail. A couple would look far and wide and probably not find a book that would give them as much help in getting along with each other, friends, and their relatives and children. The narrative is lively and engaging and the accessible authors refer to some of the kinks they've had to work out to make their relationship work smoothly. I liked that.
