This is a must for anyone with a father...........

This is a book that I buy several copies of at a time and then give them away as they are needed by friends, family and sometimes even strangers. And now it is my turn to need it.

    For the memories

I have not read this book; I chose it, based on reviews from other readers who had experienced grief similar to that of two of my nieces. My father died nearly 28 years ago, and the loss remains; for my nieces, the time frame is this: one lost her father (one of my brothers) almost two years ago, and the other lost her father (one of my brothers) almost six months ago. It's good to have help understanding what you're feeling, and it's important to know that (a) you're not alone;(b) you're not crazy, and (c) you will always grieve the loss of this person--just in different ways as time goes on. From what I can tell, this author understands.
